The flax is a darker brown than I expected, closer to khaki. But, it'll be nice for fall. The fabric feels good and heavy. Tablecloth is true to size (70×70).Wrinkles, wrinkles, wrinkles!! In this day and age who wants to IRON a tablecloth?? The wrinkles do not wash and dry out no matter how much softener you use! Taking this to the laundry costs me $14.43! WARNING: DO NOT BUY without knowing how badly this will wrinkle. I cannot use this one often. It will just be hanging in my linen closet.I thought this tablecloth would not need ironing after washing and drying if I removed it from the dryer immedately after the load finished. Other than needing ironing (which I dislike intensely), it's a good sturdy material. This was a thicker and more substantial material than I expected. But there were a lot of loose threads that needed to be clipped. It wrinkles quite easily and will need ironing, even right out of the dryer. It might be slightly higher priced than you would expect for the quality. That being said, I think it is a pretty good basic tablecloth. It serves my current needs for a plain white large tablecloth.Sorry this table cloth is not 144" long. So if you need a long table cloth do not buy this one. Yes, it is 100% cotton so it wrinkles. I knew this when I purchased it but was very disappointed when I used it to find out they short changed me 6".This cloth worked well for us. It was used first at our church and washed up easily.Buy size longer than you need. Second purchase due to shrinkage.Ordered this tablecloth in white, 1 week before Christmas. Needed it for 12/22 for a party. Was told it was delayed but received on 12/22 in time to wash and iron. Material is heavy but soft and washes and dries without a problem on gentle cycles. Still needs pressing but worth the effort. Will buy a large size for my dining room table.
