I have pets and frequently have family over with younger kids. The tablecloth seems to be stain resistant as I can just wipe up spilled salsa and spaghetti sauce with basically no staining - if you're quick. For spills that have taken me a while to notice, I just use Oxyclean spray and the stains are lifted in 10 seconds. I haven't thrown it in the washer yet, but will be sure to hang dry it when I do. Great buy!Based on the description, we somehow got the impression that the fabric is waterproof. It’s not. It’s a permeable weave of some kind of plastic fiber, sure, and water might head off when it’s new. But spills will definitely go through. The fabric is slippery so we weight it down by putting objects on the table. Size is as described. The print is really nice.Colorful. Oval was a good fit for my table. Sunflowers are our state flower besides..I have been wanting this for a while. Changed the colors in my dining room. I was so excited when I got it and was soooooo disappointed when I got it out of the package and put it on my table. 3 huge snags that pulled the material. I have been trying to pull the material to get the snags to work back in. I am not happy.Colors are a bit brighter than expected, but its mostly as pictured. Well sewn around edges. Dimensions as described. Four stars for the fabric being more translucent than expected.Loved it no complaints
